Mark L. Poulsen, Senior Partner mlpoulsen@nsdplaw.com Mark L. Poulsen is a senior partner of Nelson, Snuffer, Dahle & Poulsen, P.C. and has been since August 1999.  Prior to this, he was a partner with Walstad & Babcock.  Mr. Poulsen's past practices and firms were focused almost exclusively on surety and construction law and related litigation.  As an attorney in private practice, he has represented numerous owners, prime-contractors, subcontractors, developers and sureties, regarding issues of construction law, development law, surety law, project financing, contract drafting and claims defense before State and Federal courts, trial, arbitration panels and appellate courts.  Mr. Poulsen was previously employed as a vice-president at a surety company.  He received his J.D. degree from the Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon, where he was a member of the Law Review.  Mr. Poulsen is a member of the Illinois and Utah State Bars, panel member of the American Arbitration Association, a member of the Construction and Surety Law Sections of the ABA, a member of the Surety Association of Utah and a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors, and numerous other local construction associations.
